Welcome
Welcome to my e-Portfolio for UWRT 1103-018 with Ms. Eaker! In this portfolio, I will show you my work throughout the Fall 2014 semester. Primarily my development and process work for each of the three major assignments. Which, is the literacy narrative, research blog and the multi-genre project. My line of inquiry for the research blog and multi-genre project is revolved around Ebola because I have an interest in the science and effects of the current Ebola outbreak.
Now, let's talk about the organization of my e-Portfolio. The way I have set it up was very limited because I was limited to five pages. On the home page, the current page, I have included the welcome page for you, the viewer, to read and understand what my portfolio is and how it works. The tab labeled "CT&Q L&C WP" shows many if not all my day book entries and in class process work, which shows my thinking process and early drafting stages during the semester. Then, I have three other tabs for each of the three major assignments. It will include the project itself, revisions and reflections. Without further ado, you are free to explore my portfolio.

Final Thoughts
During the course of this class, I was not sure what to expect. As an incoming freshman, I thought it was going to be the hardest English class by far. It was a lot of work, but it was not what I expected. I thought there would be papers every week due 12 pages in length. I am just over exaggerating. Really, this class was meant to improve us as writers and prepare us for what other classes will expect. I learned a lot from this class such as sensory details, translating genres and how to frame information. At times it was overwhelming, such as now. Writing this e-portfolio is a lot of work because I am literally trying to sum up my entire semester in many different reflections. This class will be super beneficial to my later classes because I have learned how to better write research papers through the practice of framing. Also, by using sensory details I am now able to create relatability. Throughout the semester I could see myself grow as a writer and it is definitely going to help in future classes.
